"Feed The Man" - Panel 03
This is a triptych completed with gouache on 13"-square compressed cardboard. This is a fun piece, completed for personal reasons. A social satire, it's funny how no matter how "alternative" or "rebellious" you are, you still need money to do just about everything.

Yeah.
When I was a little younger, a lot of people considered me a mathematical and economic genius.
I was convinced that there were solid principles that could potentially rid the world of the need for money.
I spent almost two years researching before I tried to finally answer the problem.
I came to the following conclusion. Money is necessary in any group scenario that has not achieved a perfect balance of power. In any group situation where a perfect balance of power exists... money would upset that balance. Money is basically a negotiation of power. Therefore, mathematically, if money
ower-fluctuation.. then to eliminate money you must establish a power that never changes. There are several ways to do this. Ultimately, however, there are only two effective ways. Either every man must become completely self-sufficient (Anarchy) or every man must surrender all power to a ruling entity that has no use for power (Robotic Tyranny?). So, I gave up mathematics and economics and became an anarchist and a robot. ;]
