This image was created to be a spread; the gutter divides the two images equally. The bottom left image (front 3/4) was used as a base for color and light. The rear 3/4 was retouched to complete the wheels and color corrected and repaired. The grid was used throughout the book and was added to this image for environment.
Overall image was composed, balanced for color, saturation and leveled. Grain was added for consistency.
The goal: create an image that maintained the mood of the Front 3/4 image and was in line with the current, German-born Audi advertising suite of imagery.
End-use: A two-page spread in a Owner Marketing Welcome Kit, Art Directed by Senior Designer, Matt Van Der Maas.
